TEXOMA GIVES is a 16-hour day of giving that provides critical funding for our area nonprofits. Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation is partnering with area nonprofits to give thousands of donors from every community in a 24-county area of N. Texas and S. Oklahoma a chance to raise funds for local needs.
The purpose of an area-wide day like TEXOMA GIVES is to bring the region together on one day and as one community, raising money and awareness for Texoma nonprofits. This initiative, organized by Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation (WFACF), provides citizens an on-line www.texomagives.org to find and support nonprofit organizations whose missions align with their passions.
All donations made on September 7 through www.texomagives.org are eligible for “Prize Money” that will be awarded throughout the day. “Prize Money” has been made possible by the following:
•J.S. Bridwell Foundation
•Bryant Edwards Foundation
•The Priddy Foundation
•Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation
•And many others will be joining in this “prize money” effort as we get nearer to event day!
From 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. on September 7, www.texomagives.org will accept donations to raise unrestricted dollars for area nonprofits in Texoma. It is a day of giving to celebrate the nonprofits in Texoma. What an impact we can make in Texoma when we join together for Texoma Gives!
