The North Texas Area United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on the biggest issues facing our community around the areas of Education, Income and Health.

The mission of the United Way is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.

The North Texas Area United Way serves Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young counties and is located at 1105 Holliday Street in downtown Wichita Falls, Texas. For 87 years, the NTAUW has worked to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of area communities. Although a member of the national United Way movement, which includes over 1,300 community-based United Way organizations, the North Texas Area United Way is independent, separately incorporated, and governed by local volunteers.

The North Texas Area United Way Endowment Fund at the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation was initiated in 2004. An endowed fund is a permanent fund that grows over time through earnings and donations. An endowment fund is another giving tool that assists those who desire to leave a charitable bequest in their will. The bequest can be made to United Way directly or to its endowment fund.
